a pinch of citric acid (optional. If you candy choice has a sour coating, this ingredient isn't necessary)
Steps
1. In a saucepan, heat all ingredients together to melt the candy. Do NOT let it boil. Some gummy candy melts easier than others. If you find, that you are heating for a long time, pour the mixture back into your measuring cup and replace the lost water with water or more cream.
2. Cool with cling wrap covering and sticking to the cream.
3. Once the mixture is as cold as cream from the fridge, whisk with hand or stand mixer with the whisk attachment. You can leave the cream to chill for as long as you want.
